Herdwick Photography Exhibition
The photographs are by Cumbrian photographer Ian Lawson, who has worked on the project for more than five years. Ian has produced a book of the same name which works alongside the exhibition to show the relationship between this rare breed of sheep, the fell farmers who breed them, and the Lakeland landscape they inhabit.
Herdwick: A Portrait of Lakeland is open from Saturday 14 February – Sunday 19 April 2014. It is open every day from 10.30am-4.30pm and admission is free.
