Old Park Wood Caravan Park is a 5 Star Park set within the Holker Estate, just a mile outside Holker Hall, the home of the Cavendish Family. Established in the early 1960’s Old Park Wood has retained its friendly idyllic character.  The Park is ideally situated in the heart of the South Lakes area providing you with the perfect location for exploring the whole of the Lake District.

In the surrounding area the towns of Windermere, Ambleside, Grange-over-Sands, Cartmel and a host of other local beauty spots offer friendly pubs and restaurants to help complete your enjoyment.

Old Park Wood is ideally situated in the heart of the South Lakes area and can provide you with the perfect location for exploring the whole Lake District whilst being less then a 40 minute drive from the M6 and only a 90 minute drive from the centre of Manchester.  In twenty minutes you can take yourself to Lakeside and the start of the English Lake District.
