The Red Squirrel project helps to conserve the red squirrel population through monitoring and grey squirrel control. Since the project began, population numbers have steadily increased, but Nurture Lakeland are appealing to the public to take part in their Visitor Giving programme, to help continue their work. 
We would love our residents to get involved. There will information posters going up around the site, as well as collection boxes in the shop area.
