Just a two minute drive away (or a 20 minute walk), browse this impressive historic hall and its 25 acres of award winning woodland and formal gardens. Or stop off at the Holker restaurant and Food Hall to pick up a few delicious essentials. Holker Hall also hosts a variety of events throughout the year.

Coniston Water

Cartmel Agricultural Show
The Cartmel Show is held on the first Wednesday in August of each year. It’s a traditional Country Show with its roots firmly within the agricultural community providing plenty of family entertainment in the picturesque parkland setting of Cartmel Racecourse.
