"Old Park Wood is a hidden gem in the Lakes in a beautiful setting , the park management team are exceptional and the site is very well maintained, it is a perfect site for anyone wanting a more peaceful site with no club house but only a short drive from everything the Lake District has to offer ,.We have been residents for 9 years and just upgraded our caravan to a Lodge and the management team went above and beyond to make our upgrade as smooth as possible , don’t just take my word for it come and see for yourselves you won’t be disappointed "

End of Season Fun Day announced

Despite the rain last October, our End of Season celebrations went down a storm, so this year we have decided to re-run the event on Saturday 28th October 2017.

Why not make a day of it with your family and friends; enjoy tasty BBQ food and refreshments, children’s fun activities throughout the day including face painting, magic shows and pony rides, plus the annual Mini Triathlon and resident’s competitions.

This year's competitions will include:

Best Carved Pumpkin
Best Halloween Fancy Dress Costume
Residents Photography Competition: Theme is 'Seasonal Colours'

There will also be stalls from local food and drink producers where you will be able to sample the area’s finest gourmet delights.

The Fun Day commences at 10am and concludes around 4pm.

We hope to see lots of our residents on the day to help us celebrate!
