Following the success of previous live music concerts at Cartmel Racecourse including Tom Jones, Simply Red and Jools Holland, the venue are delighted to welcome the best-selling Irish band to their June race meeting. Ronan, Keith, Mikey & Shane better known as Boyzone, are one of the UK and Ireland’s most successful bands having sold 25 million records worldwide by 2013. Boyzone have had 21 singles in the top 40 UK charts, including six UK No.1 singles and are still going strong! Their 2018 tour celebrates their 25th anniversary and gives the guys a chance to celebrate their pop career achievements with their fans.

Held during the June Meeting on Friday 29^th June, the concert will take place after the racing and will undoubtedly form one of the highlights of Cartmel’s summer racing fixtures.

Stephen Cooper, Managing Director at Cartmel Racecourse, said “The team here at Cartmel are all extremely excited to have secured Boyzone to perform at the Racecourse this June. The outdoor concerts have become a much-enjoyed part of our summer racing calendar and the atmosphere on these days is fantastic. We are sure everyone will come along and enjoy a great, fun-filled day out”.

Ahead of their first ever live performance in the South Lakes area, Boyzone commented “We are really looking forward to performing in the stunning setting of Cartmel Racecourse this summer. We’ve always loved the outdoor shows and we can’t wait to perform together as a band in front of the enthusiastic crowds at Cartmel!”

Limited numbers of Early Bird Tickets for the event will be released online only at 9am on Friday 13th April, however Old Park Wood residents will receive a Priority booking email. Adult Early Bird tickets are priced at £40 (a saving of £15 on the on-the-day ticket price). All admission tickets for this date are inclusive of both the racing and the evening concert. Tickets will also be available online for teens which are priced at £25 and for under 13’s who go free. Please note that tickets must be obtained for all attending, including the complimentary under 13’s.
