SPRING is finally here and with it, the official opening of our 2020 season.

 

The team at Old Park Wood have enjoyed a busy winter period as they prepared to welcome owners - existing and new - to their holiday homes on Sunday, March 1.

 

The year ahead is set to be particularly special with owners able to enjoy Christmas and New Year on site for the first time.

 

Alex Hodgson, of Holker Estates, said everyone was looking forward to the brand new season, which begins just weeks after Cumbria was ranked fourth on The Cool List by National Geographic Traveller.

 

The globally renowned chart highlights the most interesting places to visit around the world every year.

 

"There's always plenty to keep us busy over the winter as we make sure Old Park Wood is looking its very best ready for the season to come," Alex added.

 

"But what we enjoy the most is seeing owners arrive back on site to spend time in their homes away from home in the months ahead.

 

"This year is special in many ways. We welcome new owners who will be spending their first full season at the park, taking advantage of this beautiful setting, the facilities on site, the space, wildlife and of course the many attractions found throughout Cumbria and the Lake District.

 

"2020 is also the first extended season at Old Park Wood, with owners able to experience the magic of the park over Christmas and New Year.

 

"We know it's going to be an excellent year ahead."
