"There simply was no better feeling than making our way on a Friday evening to Old Park Wood, knowing our children, Joanne & I could switch off & relax in your wonderful surroundings. The grounds are so spacious, neighbouring vans being a generous distance away. To have the woodland & estuary walks on our doorstep together with quiet cycle tracks & walks locally gave our 2 children, now 11 & 13, such a wonderful outdoor playground. We moved off the site only to relocate as a family on a permanent basis to live nearby in Grange-Over-Sands. Fortunately my in-laws still own a caravan on the site, so we can enjoy regular visits, when we bump into many friends we made on site & catch up on old times."
