Relax as you saunter past the historic 1856 thrilling race course, through the quaint medieval village and past the magnificent Holker Hall. With a hard turn left down the drive flanked both sides by old oak trees forming an enticing tunnel. With a further turn right your windscreen fills with the breath taking Coniston Fells making your senses tingle with anticipation. The hidden opening on the left through the ancient woodland leads you to the clearing of Old Park Wood. Your senses are instantly alive with both woodland aromas and estuary air. Dogs eagerly excited by their return to their little holiday haven bounce around the back of cars anticipating their adventurous walks.Migrating deer slow your entrance, making your anticipation heighten as you reach your destination.
